Storing Our Bread:
On countertop:
(~3-4 days at room temperature)
Wrap the loaf in a tea towel or place in ziplock bag to keep bread from drying out. If it starts to dry out, spritz with water and place it in a hot oven for a few minutes to refresh.
In freezer:
**Best method** You can pre-slice the loaf and place it in a freezer bag. When put in the toaster, the slices come out like fresh baked bread that is perfectly toasted.
To freeze a whole loaf, wrap and then place in a freezer bag. Before eating, remove frozen loaf from the freezer and let it come to room temperature throughout the day.
Straight from the freezer - shower frozen loaf with water then put in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes covered and then an additional 10-20 minutes uncovered to get the crust nice and crunchy again. Keep covered with foil if a less crusty result is desired.
