Storing Our Bread:

On countertop:

(~3-4 days at room temperature)

  • Wrap the loaf in a tea towel or bread box and store cut side down to keep bread from drying out. If it starts to dry out, spritz with water and place it in a hot oven for a few minutes to refresh. 

In freezer:

  • **Best method** You can pre-slice the loaf and place it in a freezer bag. When put in the toaster, the slices come out like fresh baked bread that is perfectly toasted.

  • To freeze a whole loaf, wrap and then place in a freezer bag.

  • Before eating: (1) Shower frozen loaf with water then put in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes covered and then an additional 10 minutes uncovered to get the crust nice and crunchy again. Keep covered with foil if a less crusty result is desired. (2) Take loaf out of
